WhisperKOOL Wine Cellar
Cooling Systems are designed to Control Wine Cellar
Temperature and Humidity to create a Proper
Wine Storage Environment. Standard air conditioners
and refrigeration systems cool air quickly and as a
result, remove humidity and the air becomes dehydrated.
A WhisperKOOL Cooling Unit differs because it cools
your Custom Built Wine Cellar slowly. When this happens,
the relative humidity actually increases.

Installation Tips
- The Maximum cubic feet the WhisperKOOL can handle
is based on a perfectly built wine cellar with proper
insulation in the ceiling, walls, floor (when necessary)
and vapor barrier installed.
- Simply install your new WhisperKOOL system by sliding
it (from the outside) through the framed opening prepared
in the wine cellar wall.
- Screws are conveniently provided for you to mount
your WhisperKOOL unit directly into the studs.
- A 1/2" condensate drain line is also supplied.
If you do not use the drain line, please keep the
attractive brass plug fitting installed to prevent
leaking.
- Bay Colony recommends using a surge protector plugged
into a dedicated 110 volt electrical line for your
WhisperKOOL.
- You can not properly size a WK system by the cubic
feet alone. Cubic feet is only a guide. The BTUs needed
to cool a wine room are based on insulation values,
vapor barriers, below grade or on a slab, amount of
door and window glass.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Vent your WhisperKOOL system into an adjacent
room at least 2 times the size of your wine cellar.
